EXPECTED NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 120

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The General Affairs Council on Cohesion takes place on the 22th November 2022. The meeting will be attended by Member States representatives (ministers and state secretaries) and representatives of European Commission (Ms Ferreira) and will conclude with the Council conclusions on the Cohesion Policy. 

CONTENT:
The main item of the meeting will be a political discussion about long term impact of Cohesion Policy in terms of existing tools and challenges, trends and its primary function – decreasing the disparities among EU regions. Our goal is to emphasize benefits of Cohesion Policy and its indispensability for years to come. Furthermore, adopting Council conclusions, which will be pre-discussed on a Working Party on Structural Measures and Outermost Regions Meeting.

Other items not related to the subject matter of the meeting but falling under the Council's approval (e.g. ECA Communication) may also be discussed.
