EVENT DESCRIPTION: 
EUKN Policy Lab will focus on digitalisation and innovations for cities of all sizes. The Policy Lap is also an opportunity to discuss topics to be later covered at UDG and DG UM, in particular on the practical set-up of policy coordination with regard to the New Leipzig Charter with a focus on its digital dimension and innovation.

CONTENT:
A workshop focused on connecting the New Leipzig Charter (NLC), its follow-up documents and the Territorial Agenda 2030 with cities and functional areas. Special emphasis will be placed on the digital dimension of the NLC and innovations.

The great diversity of Czech regions and the dispersed distribution of the population has been a challenge in terms of infrastructure and public services for a long time. A challenge that digital and innovative solutions could help solve.

It may be difficult for municipalities and cities to navigate in such a wide array of options and to find the right programme to obtain EU funding. This problem will be the focal point of this Policy Lab. Existing options of the EU level will be mapped and local administrations will exchange their experience.
